June 2011 is the ISVRA 10-year anniversary and we planned an astonishing congress for the occasion. A plenary session dealing with latest evidence about some of the most important issues in veterinary anaesthesia will be held in the main hall.  Experts from Italy and abroad will be involved, including Alessandro Bonioli (Torino, Italy), Davide Gamba (Bergamo, Italy), Francesco Staffieri (Bari, Italy), Enrico Stefanelli (Roma, Italy) and Simone Ringer (Zurich University, Switzerland). Topics will include: epidural anaesthesia, propofol induction, which inhalant anaesthetic should I use, perioperative NSAIDs, and anaesthesia for patient with comorbidities.

Special sessions on mechanical ventilation, TIVA-TCI, and non-invasive mechanical ventilation will take place the day before.
