“In humans depth of sedation/anaesthesia is routinely assessed by validated scoring systems, OAA/S and Ramsay usually. In addition, specific brain monitoring (e.g. BIS, CSI, Entropy, etc.) are often used. Unfortunately, very few data has been released in Veterinary Medicine to date, and as result operator's knowledge and skills are essential when planning a NORA."
