We will lecture about inhalant anaesthesia and ventilator support of the anaesthetized patient at the 2nd module of the 2nd level (intermediate) anaesthesia course (AN22). Join us in Desio (Clinica Veterinaria dr Tomassini) 11th through 13th of May.
Lectures will include: an overview of most popular mechanical ventilators, IPPV settings, PEEP indications and contraindications, halothane vs isoflurane vs sevoflurane, ET-agent monitoring and MAC in dogs and cats, and inhalant induction and recovery strategies. Management of clinical cases in theatre will be part of the course.
