TCI and quantitative inhalant anaesthesia (AN31)

The TCI and quantitative inhalant anaesthesia module (1st module of the 3rd level course) has been postponed. Join us in Zola Predosa (Bologna) from the 24th to the 26th of June.

TCI is a well-established technique in veterinary anaesthesia nowadays, although recently some funny Italian veterinary anaesthetists are saying it is not. However, basic understanding of PK-PD models is required to improve clinical use of the system. In addition, good knowledge of the software is required to prevent set-up errors, which may result in accidents and complications.

Low flow anaesthesia may be considered a step forward for the patient and the environment. However good knowledge of physics and anaesthetic monitoring are required. The module will deal with advanced carbon dioxide, oxygen and agent continuous monitoring, including waveform analysis.

More details in the ISVRA CPD calendar (PDF in www.isvra.org). To register e-mail ISVRA the registration form (interactive PDF, click the green ‘Registration form’ button above).
